I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, “Don’t trust Tony Blair” Especially if your name is Gordon Brown. Not only is he not to be trusted, he is going to spike Brown’s guns with a heigh-nonny-no but he will escape the blame as usual. If I were Gordon Brown I’d tell Tony to stuff the job of Prime Minister, and get out while the going is good.

Quiet reminiscing.
@ 08/04/2007 – 07:41:23 pm
Today my X and I went to visit a friend whom we had known in Alexandria, Egypt. They own a caravan which is not too far away from us in Dorset. She has seen a lot of life and is so full of life and it was just wonderful to see her again.
There was a lot of reminiscing about people we had met and places we had been to, the high jinks we had got up to, who was still alive and who had kicked the bucket.
I had a wonderful day. -
Scotland Yard Investigates
@ 01/04/2007 – 12:38:02 am
Scotland Yard sent out “detectives” to discover Miss Maxie’s murderer in Nassau in the Bahamas in the sixties.
They did not succeed. It was known who was instrumental in the murder of Miss MaxieMr Woolmer’s demise is somewhat similar. The 'detectives' will get a sun tan and that’s about it.
Or maybe they will get a black man to ‘confess’. -
Last train from Glasgow Central
@ 24/03/2007 – 11:21:25 pm
Have you ever missed the last train? I did when I was a student in Glasgow. I got a few newspapers and tried to make myself comfortable on a park bench in George Square in ‘no mean city’ Glasgow.
I had got myself blootered in a drinking establishment near Queens Street railway station. Those days are more or less gone but they still bring good memories. The milk bottles were on the doorstep when I got back home to Dalry.
